Talk It Rock It is committed to helping others help kids in a variety of ways:
- Speech and Language Seminars to Graduate Students – Rachel Arntson volunteers her time to speak to graduate students at Minnesota State University – Mankato every year. She welcomes any university to contact her to discuss her presentations.
- Product Donations – We believe that our products can change lives. We welcome state speech and hearing associations or other organizations to contact us for donations for conventions and staff development seminars.
- Rachel Arntson, Owner of Talk It Rock It, welcomes any invitations to present her love of using music in speech and language therapy and her practical therapy ideas. Feel free to contact her.
- Rachel is committed to finding a cure for cancer – Team in Training with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) – Although LLS is not directly related to speech and language therapy, this organization has a huge spot in the heart and soul of Talk It Rock It. Rachel Arntson is a long time member of Team in Training, an arm of LLS, that participates in endurance races while raising funds for Leukemia and Lymphoma research and patient support.
Rachel’s daughter has been a leukemia survivor since 1997. Because of her daughter’s experience, Rachel wants to find ways to, not only cure cancer, but prevent cancer. Many young children have long term health issues due to the toxic treatments for cancer. If you would like to support Rachel in her fund raising efforts, please go to https://www.teamintraining.org/search-for-participants and type Rachel Arntson in the teammate name box. Thank you!
